Breaking down the problem. I recalled my one of my engineering head sharing with me about a book on asking why X times. Can’t really recall the name of it but i recall a similar principle - sometimes the first respond on the why question isn’t the real feedback.

As a Product Manager (PM) balancing a tight schedule and parenting responsibilities, crafting quality content for newsletter posts within limited time frames poses a significant challenge. Interruptions from family members and the need for constant context switching often lead to inefficiencies,
Frustration → I’m working on something important (//finally I have some time after career to start writing the newsletter post, why keep interrupting me?)
Not so good emotions for family members → Why daddy/husband cannot play with me/give me attention? Guilt feeling.
While writing the newsletter, before I click the ‘publish’ button, I have a minimum standard to complete.

Timebox method - Set a timebox for writing newsletter/content post.
Start a topic journal - Write down bullet points on learnings, feedback and thoughts on the topic over the week.
Build Template - Create newsletter template to help create a structure of writing on the topic and speedup by transferring the notes on the topic to the respective section.
Leverage AI
Use chatgpt for edit→ review→ manual edit.
Generate images for the post
Try to find other timeslots without family commitments. (Still working on this, tried to wake up earlier but not working)
The above are some of the workflows that are added/improved(PM Skill - Iteration). over the past 4 posts, 2 of them still take me 4 - 6 hrs to finish up.

Why? I don’t how to start and what to write.
Why? It’s time-consuming to write.
Why? I wrote 4 posts and 2 of them took like 4-6hrs.
Possible Solution to solve the problem? How can you create the next content(write, audio, video) faster by 1% ? E.g. If you’re taking 6hrs to create content, how to do it in 5hrs 56mins.
